ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT connector settings and turn on Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there). If you don't see it, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the New connector dialog.
  3. Enter Muir Brands as the name and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom MCP server), then click "Create".
  5. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use Muir Brands.
  6. Sign in with your Muir Brands account when prompted.

Claude

  1. Open the prefilled connector dialog — the name and MCP URL are already filled in.
  2. Review the details and click "Add".
  3. If the prefilled form does not open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it Muir Brands, and paste the MCP URL.
  4. Sign in with your Muir Brands account when prompted.
  5. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Muir Brands.

Claude Code

  1. Run this one-line command in a terminal — that's the whole install:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http muir-brands ''
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Muir Brands is connected. Sign in from that menu if asked.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use Muir Brands.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection Muir Brands and paste the MCP URL.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Muir Brands.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant caches the tool list. When we ship changes, refresh the connection to get the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Muir Brands.
  2. Scroll to "Information" and click "Refresh".
  3. ChatGPT can't update an existing app's URL — if it changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Muir Brands.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select the Muir Brands connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. Claude can't update an existing connector's URL — if it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
  4. Ask Claude to use Muir Brands.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove muir-brands, then run the install command above again with the latest URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Muir Brands.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for Muir Brands.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use Muir Brands.
